The suburb is flat with a regular street layout — the former golf course produced wide, straight residential streets with easy parking. The interior streets like Green Avenue, Bunker Avenue, and The Fairway are quiet with ample kerbside space. Plenty Road on the eastern boundary is a four-lane arterial carrying the Route 86 tram — not suitable for stopping. Dunne Street carries bus routes and is busier than the internal streets. Almost every pickup is from a front door — either an original brick veneer with a clear front path, or a newer townhouse with its own street-facing entrance via a shared driveway.
